Bronze Relief of Henry Hensche Unfinished Hensche Gravesite in Truro
The Henry Hensche Foundation is asking those who can, to please make a tax-deductable donation to the Henry Hensche Memorial Gravesite Fund. Work has been underway to complete a memorial gravesite of Henry Hensche in order to honour his contribution to the painting world. Currently, the Foundation is considering plans for granite coping to be placed around his gravesite. The bronze relief work (see above photo) will be mounted on the granite coping in front of the plot with the name, Henry Hensche 1899-1992 , being placed underneath the bronze relief.
As you can see in the photo, work has come to a halt due to a lack of funds. Any painter or student that may have ideas to raise funding for this project are encouraged to contact John Robichaux.
